Professor Hagit Attiya (the Henry and Marilyn Taub Faculty of Computer Science) has been named a Fellow of the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS), for landmark results to many areas in the theory and design of distributed systems, and continuously played a leading role in shaping the scientific discourse on distributed systems.
