Professor Ron Kimmel

Professor Ron Kimmel (Henry and Marilyn Taub Faculty of Computer Science) will receive the 2025 Weizman Prize for Exact Sciences for his groundbreaking work in the theoretical and practical study of methods for the geometric processing of visual information. In particular, his recent work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and computational pathology has revolutionized the speed and accuracy of medical diagnosis and treatment for types of breast cancer.
