Five young faculty members have been selected to receive the Alon & Maof Fellowships for the Integration of Outstanding Faculty from the Council for Higher Education:
Assistant Professor Nir Hananya (Schulich Faculty of Chemistry) won the fellowship in the Life Science and Medicine category.
Assistant Professor Haggai Maron (Andrew and Erna Viterbi Faculty of Electrical & Computer Engineering), Assistant Professor Efrat Shimron (Andrew and Erna Viterbi Faculty of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Faculty of Biomedical Engineering), and Assistant Professor Ilya Svetlizky (Faculty of Physics) won the fellowship in the Exact Sciences and Engineering category.
Dr. Ameer Marzok, joining the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering in October 2024, won the Maof Fellowship.
