The Technion’s Unit for Awards and Recognition commenced its operations in 2020. The purpose is to promote academic excellence and improve Technion’s research reputation on a global scale. The Awards and Recognition Unit works to increase the international recognition of Technion’s leading scientists by supporting their nominations for major recognitions and awards. By doing so, we strive to strengthen the reputation of Technion’s researchers in Israel and worldwide.
Our main activities are:
- We maintain a database of 1100+ national and international research awards, regularly updated and available to all Technion faculty members.
- Identifying deserving candidates for major national and international research award nominations.
- Preparation and submission of the dossiers of candidates to the relevant research award agencies.
- We work to maintain high-quality nominations.
